Skin-tastic!

Hello my lovely friends!

This post is quite an interesting one. If you don't know much about skin care or you are looking for an amazing skin care range I have all the answers right here! Being a beauty therapist in training I understand the importance of skin care and having a great skin care regime. Unfortunately  I don't practice what I preach because I have been unable to find a product I'm with, until now. Firstly- a skin regime is important for so many reasons. When I talk about a skin care regime I'm talking about a 3-6 step regime including cleanser, toner, exfoliation, moisturizer, sunscreen and eye gel/balm. For younger people a 3 step regime is more than adequate (Cleanser, toner & moisturizer) with an occasional exfoliation once a week. For a more mature aged person eye gel/balm is crucial and sunscreen is always a MUST for everyone daily!! Sun damage is the number 1 skin ager to our skin and as we know that hole in ozone layer isn't getting any smaller. Anyway- the importance of a cleanser is to remove dirt, grime & pollution from your skin that we are exposed to each and every day. This is such a important step and should be done before bed each night. Preferably it should be done morning & night (at night our skin repairs & excretes all the toxins in our body so you need to clean that nastiness off) but night is most important if you think you won't or can't manage it twice a day! Toner is great to balance your skin and keep your skin hydrated! This is extreamley important because the next skin ager is DEHYDRATION. If your skin is dehydrated it's AGING and the wrinkles are forming you just can't see them yet!! And moisturizer!! Our skin is the body's largest organ and it needs to be protected! Moisturizer also helps oil control, normalizing cell turnover & helps to create a barrier so water levels are protected within the skin. So now that I've explained the importance of a skin regime and you are all itching to protect what your Mamma gave you- let me tell you about Organic Spa. Firstly- Organic Spa is 70-95% organic and the rest natural ingredients only. Its smells amazing- (a mix of bergamot, orange, lavender, rose and petitgrain) which is their signature smell. It is NOT tested on animals, it's certified by the organic food chain and it's made from recyclable packaging, Australian owned and made & is registered with the Vegan society. All in all it's suitable for everyone. Organic Spa is big on label honesty and affordable products. It has two different cleansers, toner, four moisturizers  two eye gels/balms, face exfoliant, clay & gel mask, serums and body ranges (balm, scrubs, wash). You can find your nearest supplier from their website www.organicspa.com.au Trust me! You will never go back! I've been using it for a few days now and I love, love, love it!! So don't neglect your skin... after all we all want to look our best & our skin is NUMBER 1!

The beginning...

Well... I decided to start a blog to keep all you lovely people up to date with Tan-talizing & beauty in general! This blog will also include everything in between- from green tea, healthy eating and health tips to makeup, spray tans and tricks and tips! For those of you who don't know me my name is Emma and I am studying my diploma of beauty therapy in Lilydale at Morrisons Training. I graduate in May so I'm on the home stretch now and I really enjoy what I do. I have a qualification in spray tanning which is where it all started for me and spray tanning is my ABSOLUTE number one- I just live and breathe spray tans (literally)! I have a home based salon in Lilydale but I also offer spray tans from Mooroolbark & Lilydale (I'm a bit of a traveller to accommodate my clients!) I am turning 27 in April and I have a two year old daughter (Eva) with my partner. No doubt you will hear a lot about her and her cheeky ways throughout my posts! My partner and I just bought our first house in August last year and we are really loving the freedom that comes with it! So that's me (in a very small nutshell) and I hope to keep you informed, healthy and most of all BEAUTIFIED!!
